WEEE Regulations

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regualtion (WEEE) Directive came into force on 1 July 2007. Under this legislation old electrical items must not be disposed of with standard waste, but should be taken to a central collection point for recycling.
If you’re buying a new electrical item from us, we will recycle your old one for free. We are pleased to offer our customers the chance to recycle their old electrical items on a like-for-like basis, for example if you are buying a light switch from us, we will recycle your old one for free.

Please return your old electrical items to

WEEE - Take-Back Scheme – A5 Products Ltd
Unit H, Springhill Business Park, 114 Steward Street, Birmingham B18 7AF

You will be responsible for returning the items to us at your own cost.

To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.

Alternatively, please take this waste to your nearest Designated Collection Facility (DCF) where special facilities exist for correct disposal. Details of your nearest DCF can be found at www.recycle-more.co.uk. Find more information on WEEE recycling, and locate your local recycling centre, at www.recyclenow.com.
